RampCast Terms and Liability Disclaimer

1. Informational Service Only

RampCast provides launch status, weather, water level, and advisory information as a convenience for planning and situational awareness. RampCast is not a substitute for official notices, navigation judgment, emergency guidance, or on-site observation.

2. No Guarantee of Accuracy, Completeness, or Availability

RampCast data may be delayed, stale, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate at any time. This may result from sensor faults, station outages, upstream provider interruptions, transmission failures, API changes, cloud or CDN disruptions, cache propagation delays, software defects, or other technical conditions outside RampCast control.

3. Third-Party Source Dependency

RampCast relies on third-party data providers, including public agencies and external services. RampCast does not control these providers and does not warrant their continuity, timeliness, precision, or completeness.

4. Use at Your Own Risk

You are solely responsible for your decisions and actions on and around waterways. Conditions can change rapidly and may differ materially from values displayed in the service. You must independently verify conditions through official sources and direct observation before acting.

5. Not a Safety-Critical System

RampCast is not designed, certified, or warranted as a safety-critical, emergency-response, life-preservation, or navigation-certified system. Do not rely exclusively on RampCast for trip safety, launch go/no-go decisions, hazard avoidance, or emergency response.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RampCast and its owners, operators, developers, affiliates, licensors, and service providers are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including personal injury, property damage, loss of profits, business interruption, or other losses arising from use of, or inability to use, RampCast, even where such damages were foreseeable.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

RampCast is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

8. Jurisdictional Limitations

Some jurisdictions do not permit exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of certain liabilities. In such jurisdictions, these terms apply to the fullest extent legally permitted.
